Sarita is an original oc that I came up with also they go by they/them because, because :3

I am a fan of Mayuri Kurotsuchi but I'm not good at portraying his character as accurately as I would want to.

I might lose motivation or run out of ideas and the updates might slow down but I will try updating daily.

"My, my... the 'corpse' can talk!" Mayuri proclaims getting closer to Sarita, leening over the surgical table. Meanwhile Sarita is strapped to the surgical table, unable to move. They are also sedaded but that doesn't seem to make a difference. Mayuri takes his cold hand and brushes the 'corpse' 's long black strands of overgrown bangs out of her eyes revealing....brown bloodshot eyes with a yellow tint to them, giving her eyes a more corpse's appearance. The fact that the subject does not blink, only creeps out the other scientists around even more on top of her not breathing yet they are still curious and intrigued.

Mayuri snaps his fingers and some people handcuff Sarita's arms and legs together, untying them from the surgical table. "Safety measures so you don't run away, not that you can, even if you tried" Mayuri says simply, grinning before picking the woman(?) up by the arms and dragging them to an x-ray machine where he somewhat gently puts them and starts the tests.

Hours later Mayuri is convinced the machine is broken since it doesn't detect any heart activity nor any bodily functions. Then he remmebers he an manually check her pulse "Why hadn't I taught of that sooner!" Mayuri thinks as he grabs the 'corpse' 's arms and places his fingers on her wrist....he doesn't fell a pulse...

But he feels mushy and squishy skin that feels like a thin layer of jelly rather than skin. Perhaps the 'corpse' 's rotting was worse that it seemed.

Under the messy hair, the woman(?)'s eyebrows are furrowed at the unknown man running tests on them. The way he moves his fingers, digging them in their skin but not breaking it, gives Sarita a bad feeling about him. "At least it's better than Dr. [REDACTED]...for now..." Sarita thinks, closing their eyes and sort of tuning out the unknown man. They feel drowsy....at The Foundation she could sleep all the time there weren't any tests being made... but now they had to stay awake as they didn't trust the people here.... They slowly close their eyes, feeling drowsy as they had not slept for around five hours... which seemed diabolical to Sarita.

Mayuri's eyes widen as the 'corpse' falls limp in his arms, their body relaxing with a sigh. Mayuri had noticed the 'corpse' wasn't breathing but it had the ability to sigh? "This would be the perfect opportunity to study this subject further. I will find out how you move without a heart and how you're possible." Mayuri grins.

Hi! I am Ash, elder crone and BBU writer of so many stories I have no idea how I will ever finish them.

I started writing BBU works with Kauri's story Erase to Control in January 2020, and from there things sort of spiralled to include a vast array of characters and world-building that I am frankly pretty proud of.

Right now, my main BBU OCs are:

Kauri, beautiful kept man to an aging ex-child star actor who was bought to be a clone of another man who escaped before. He starts to doubt and question the life he lives. But it isn't as easy as escape. He still has to figure out how to survive after.

Chris, young and frightened, appears nearly wordless on a safehouse doorstep in the middle of a rainy night in my story What We Can't Make Right. He's been a secret kept for far too long, and with each day free more of who he is emerges. The story follows Chris as he grows and matures and rebuilds a shattered life.

Jameson, who is part of my overall BBU Safehouse story Little More Than a Chance, is angry and bitter and broken. Scarred from fighting to survive, he has decided to stop living as a cornered animal and throw himself into feeling human again.

Other BBU OCs include Antoni, Allyn, Eli, Nine, Sarita, Nova, Krista, Leila, Ex-Handler Marc Sonders and the pet he threw it away for, Beringer, the little town of Hope... The list goes on and on.

Favorite BBU stories include @deluxewhump's Zee, @wildfaewhump's Peyton, @for-the-love-of-angst's Wick, @redwingedwhump's David... Oh there are so many. Right now I am obsessed with @justplainwhump's Tyler and @just-horrible-things Spider.

if you had someone write an npc from tristan's story, which character would that be?

this is honestly really difficult to answer in large part because it’s difficult for me to want to give away pieces of my canon to anyone that I’ve already partially developed — for instance, I’m so happy to have other people’s characters be part of the menagerie, or have menagerie AUs, but I’m a little less willing to give up the npcs I’ve already partially fleshed out to anyone except under certain circumstances because I typically have a very specific vision for them. for instance, cooper is deeply important to tristan but he’ll always be played by me due to my particular vision for their dynamic. it would be interesting for someone to play his best friend ( and sometimes frenemy ) sarita because I think there’s a LOT of flexibility in the range and nature of their relationship ; I have a vision but it’s not as static as his dynamic with coop and there’s more room for growth. I think maybe the most interesting and challenging npc for someone to play might be seneca, tristan’s mentor and father figure with whom he has a toxic dependency and who will almost always betray him. this is a relationship about which I have NUMEROUS thoughts and which I think is his most formative and has given him so many of his issues. while I have a lot of very concrete thoughts, there are a lot of moving pieces still and it would probably be the most important to explore — although again, I’m always weirdly hesitant to have anyone play npcs from my oc canon because I’m worried I’ll be too overbearing or my ideas will be too much.

It was a regular Thursday.... until it wasn't. It was like members from squad 12 said: everything was fine, until it wasn't. Their captain had done it again, went to The World of The Living for a mission and brought a rotting corpse back?

"Captai-" One squad member runs up to Mayuri who had the 'corpse'(?) over his shoulder, carrying it. Mayuri didn't wait for the poor squad member to finish before turning to them and with a grin and ordering "Go prepare the lab for a new.... specimen" his eyes turn to the limp 'corpse' he had over his shoulder. The squad member didn't hesitate, as asking questions could be the end of them and they ran off, going to prepare the lab for tests.

Mayuri walks over to the lab and then, to the horror of that person, Mayuri straight up hands them the corpse "Strap it to the surgical table and give it seductives" Mayuri says, walking to a computer and starting to make a file for that 'corpse'. The member of the squad tenses up and starts strapping the subject to the surgical table, struggling to do so, as their body may be thin and frail but it is completely limp, like the corpse they are. Then the member puts them under anastegia, not sure why, but not daring to question The Captain.

Then Mayuri lets one of his assistants to enter the corpse's physical description in the file and walks to the surgical table where it is laying, one squad member is looking at it in horror and then imidiatly starts pointing at the corpse, panic in their voice as they try explaining what happened to The Captain "Captaincaptaincaptain- iswearinmylifethatitmoved.the.corse.moved.it's.han-" the member gets cut off by Mayuri's mocking and amused voice "Of course it moved! I wouldn't bring a simple corpse here without reason! I already have problems with Yamato for the 'ethical' part of my experiments!" he says it as it is the most obvious thing in the world and like he hasn't brought back corpses before "for science".

The squad member shuts up, pressing their lips together. "Good, good. You shut up, now go." Mayuri calls out. The squad member doesn't wait for another word and imidiatly speed-walks out of the room, going to do what they were doing before.

Mayuri then takes slow steps towards the frail 'corpse' on the surgical table. "My, my... how interesting!" He looks the corse in the eyes but... the corpse is looking at him, their tired bloodshot eyes wide open in shock and a hint of fear in them.

"Aren't you an interesting thing?" Mayuri says in a mocking tone, looking down at the experiment, Nemu next to him ready for orders. "Tell me.... What is your name subject-01UZ?" Mayuri grins, his teeth showing.

"My name.... is Sarita..." The corse says, their voice trembling slightly as they look the unknown man in the eyes.

🎬 What was the very first scene or image that popped into your head before you ever wrote a word for your OC?

My first thought for Chris was that I pictured someone very young compared to everyone else in the safehouse, and who the group would be trying to locate identity for. Someone who would be bubbly and effervescent.

I had this thought of a Romantic who couldn't see that Kauri wasn't someone whose freedom they should emulate, who could only see Kauri doing what he wants when he wants.

I decided to combine the two.

For Sarita, it was literally just "burned her house down with her owner inside, and she had her reasons." I built a lot of Sarita out from that thought. She had to be the kind of person who could murder someone in cold premeditated blood and then go on to live and be happy and find a new way to live.

I love her.
